Appraisal Representation (new files only)
When a client invokes their appraisal clause and REG Consulting has had no prior estimating or consulting involvement on that specific claim, we can serve as their appointed independent appraiser.

Independence on Every File
REG Consulting maintains strict separation between estimating and appraisal services. If we have previously prepared an estimate, supplement, or provided any consulting services on a claim, we cannot serve as the appointed appraiser on that same file. Doing so would compromise the independence the appraisal process requires. These are separate engagements and must remain so.

REG Consulting verifies it has not provided estimating, supplement, or consulting services on this specific claim file.
Client Appoints REG Consulting
The policyholder names REG Consulting as their independent appraiser in the formal appointment letter.
Property Inspection & Documentation
We conduct a thorough on-site inspection, document all damages, and prepare a professional Xactimate estimate.
Appraisers Confer
We work directly with the carrier's appraiser, exchanging estimates and working toward an agreed amount of loss.
Binding Award Issued
Any remaining disputed items are resolved by a neutral umpire. The award is enforceable under Texas insurance law.
