Information our providers process automatically
When you visit the site, our hosting and security providers process technical data such as your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you request, and the time of the request. Security cookies set by our content delivery network may also be present. See the Cookie Policy for the details. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Your cookie choice
If you make a choice in the cookie banner, we store a small first-party cookie named reg_consent to remember it.
Why we use it
- To respond to your request and to provide the services you ask about.
- To keep the website and our email systems secure and to prevent abuse, such as limiting repeated form submissions.
- To meet legal, licensing and record-keeping obligations.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and respond to you, and only as needed:
- Resend, our email delivery provider, which carries form submissions to our inbox.
- Hostinger, which hosts the website.
- Cloudflare, which provides content delivery and security services.
- Google, for displaying Google reviews. The review text is delivered by our own server. If you allow functional cookies, your browser also loads reviewers' profile photos from Google, and Google receives your IP address in the request.
If you engage us for a claim, we will also exchange claim information with the other people involved in that appraisal, such as the appraisal panel, the insurer and the policyholder, as the engagement requires. We may disclose information when the law requires it or to protect legal rights.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you. If you become a client, we keep the engagement records for the length of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterward to meet our business and legal record-keeping needs. The reg_consent cookie lasts up to 180 days. Technical logs kept by our hosting and security providers follow their own retention schedules.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our inboxes. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is intended for adults and businesses. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and other U.S. state privacy laws may give you rights over your personal information where they apply to us. These can include the right to:
- confirm whether we process your personal information and access it;
- correct inaccuracies;
- delete the information you provided to us;
- obtain a portable copy of the information you provided to us; and
- opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising and certain profiling (we do none of these).
Whether or not a particular law applies to us, you may ask us for any of the above and we will review and respond to your request.
How to make a request
Email hello@regconsulting.us or call (936) 693-3281. Tell us what you would like to do and the email address or phone number you used, so we can find your information. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act. We aim to respond within the time the applicable law allows, which is generally 45 days, and we will tell you if we need more time.
Appeals
If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response, or by writing to hello@regconsulting.uswith the word "Appeal" in the subject. We will review the appeal and respond in writing within the time the applicable law allows, with an explanation. If you are not satisfied with the result, you may contact your state attorney general. In Texas, that is the Office of the Attorney General.
Global Privacy Control
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as your request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, and our cookie tool keeps the marketing category off. As noted above, we do not sell or share personal information for advertising in any case.
Cookies
Nothing optional is stored or loaded in your browser until you choose. You can review and change your choices at any time with the "Cookie settings" button in the page footer. See the Cookie Policy.
